Hi guys. So, this is an update on what's been keeping us busy in the last few days. The short answer is planning and designing. We want to expand Pixel-Bricks to more than what it is today and that's what we've been going over this week. As we said in the previous post, there were a few ideas that we had but nothing we wanted to say just yet. That's still true on the whole (though we're letting you in on what the ideas are). The main difference now is that we have EVEN MORE ideas for the future expansion of Pixel-Bricks. Some of the ideas we had have already been scrapped because they just weren't feasible but we now have more and better ones and we're going to tell you about them now.
So, Pixel-Bricks is a form of advertising at the moment. We provide the service of allowing you to have some astoundingly cheap, life-time advertising, enabling you to keep visitors coming to your website for years. We took the general fact that, essentially, what we're doing is offering a service for website owners in a way that helps them achieve the goals of their website. THIS is what we're expanding on. We plan to expand Pixel-Bricks in a way that it becomes more than an advertising tool; we are planning to allow the website to become a complete set of services to web masters. The sort of things we're looking in to doing centre around SEO services, search engine submission, web hosting packages, web page templates, web design tools, web designers for hire, banner creation, logo creation, image manipulation, general tips for web masters and even product reviews.
That last one may seem quite a bit different from the rest but the idea is that we'll use some great SEO techniques to ensure that our product review pages are found. These reviews could then have links in them which link directly to your website if you happen to be an e-commerce website who stocks that particular product. We will take requests for which products we'll review from any Pixel-Bricks customer who thinks they would benefit from it. This way we cover promotion for all types of website in a variety of ways, while simultaneously offering tools and services to help those sites be the best that they can be.
Now you know why we haven't posted on the blog for a few days; we've been very busy planning all of this. It should be noted that this is all very much concept at the moment and we're only just starting (today) to actually work on these ideas. We'll be doing one at a time and we'll keep you updated regularly on our progress, so check back here often to see what's new.

What Have We Been Up To?

Where HAVE We Been?
Hi guys. Just a short message to explain our lack of activity on this blog for the last couple of days. We haven't forgotten about you all, don't worry. We're actually hard at work at the moment working on some exciting new ideas for the website. We aren't talking about changes to existing sections, we're talking about brand new features which require pages (if not a new, separate website) for themselves. We don't want to give anything away just yet as the new ideas are still very much in the concept stages and haven't been given the go-ahead yet. Rest assured, if and when we do go ahead with these or any other new ideas, THIS is the place you'll hear about it first so remember to check back regularly or better yet, subscribe to this blog if you haven't already.

Go On, Tell Us What You Really Think
Hi everyone. Today we have a special request. We're always looking for ways to make Pixel-Bricks.com the best it can be. We want it to have everything our visitors could want, old or new. So, we have a favour to ask you all. Go to the 'Contact Us' page on the website and send us an email. We want to know if there's anything you have to ask which you think is unclear about Pixel-Bricks. We also want all of your suggestions on what you'd like to see on the website that would make it better.
Don't be shy, tell us what you want and you could soon see your suggestion turned in to a reality.

More money saving tips coming soon.
Risky Business
We've got a slightly risky and controversial method of making some money online for you today. It's different to our other tips because you need to use some of your own money and you COULD still loose it all. We suggest you only try this if you can afford to do so. Remember, we don't guarantee that this method will make you any money at all, there's just a strong possibility. Here's what you need to do (thanks to www.freemoneyreviews.com for this one).
HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS?
Follow the instructions to the letter. Spin 1 - Bet £1 on Red but Black comes in - lose £1
|
|
WARNING
When your colour comes up the sequence is over. You will always win back any losses plus a profit. At the end of each sequence go back to step one.
GOLDEN RULES
1. Each time you lose, double up on your next bet.
2. Each time you win STOP increasing your stack and go back to step 1.
3. Start with £1 bets only.
NEVER
• Continue to increase your stake after a win.
• Bet on anything other than Red or Black.
• Try to change or improve the system. This always results in loses. The system is invincible- YOU ARE NOT.
TIPS
For your first few sessions keep a note of your last bet in case you get distracted.
Open your account with a minimum balance that covers 8 or 9 consecutive losses, the chance of getting nine consecutives colours is 1/512! This is why we recommend an opening balance of £80 (the casino will top this up to about £256 for you). Choose which colour you want to bet on, but if you lose stick to that colour until you win.
Remember, this method is for use with ONLINE roulette tables only. It also only works on a European roulette table, not the American version.

Another Great Way Of Generating MILLIONS Of Visitors To Your Website - For Free
We've got a good one for you here. OK, so Pixel-Bricks is designed as a form of online advertising for those who don't have the money to keep pouring funds in to ordinary advertising campaigns online. That's why we offer a one-time low fee to place your advertisement on our homepage forever (well, for as long as Pixel-Bricks exists but that's still going to be a long, long time). Another method of online advertising which greatly compliments cheap pixel advertising is a new model which could potentially attract millions of visitors to your website before long and best of all, with the added benefit of it being free. Click here to see what we're talking about.
The way it works is quite simple but still, it's quite a new concept. It all works by getting others who want to know this very method to visit your website, which is something they HAVE to do if they want to sign up also. Your website will be on the list which they have to click through to (out of 6 websites). Once they've looked at your website and 5 others, they sign up themselves and any visitors to their website wanting to get the same method has to go through the same process. YOUR website will be on their website as well, meaning everyone who go's through THEIR website will see your website, as well as everybody who goes through your website.
Confused? We don't blame you. Check it out for yourself, you'll see that it's really very simple. Go to http://www.t2000ultra.com/?rid=43781 to see for yourself. There's many offers out there claiming to be able to get you loads of visitors but many of them don't live up to this. THIS method, however, really does work (we should know, we use it ourselves. This way, even more visitors come to our website and see your adverts which you have got on our homepage. That's another great reason to buy some pixel space for yourself, you can now see that we're very active in generating as many visitors to our website as possible so that YOU get more hits to yours).
What are you waiting for? Click here to get yourself millions of visitors to your website!
60% SALE NOW ON!!!!!!!
On your marks, get set, GO! Pixel-Bricks.com's first ever sale is now on! We've slashed prices by 60%. The cost per pixel is now 10p (around 20c for U.S. buyers). HURRY though, it's only available at this unbelievable price for THREE DAYS so get in quick and BUY YOUR PIXEL ADVERTISING SPACE NOW!!!

Sell Your Pictures Online
Anyone can sell their pictures online. It's incredibly easy to set up and you don't even need your own website (in fact it's easier without one). There are loads of websites out there that offer visitors the chance to buy images, whether that be for printing or using on their websites or any number of other reasons. These websites sometimes also offer free images as well so it's always worth taking a look around that section if you're in need of some great pictures. So, how do these websites get these images? Well, that's where you come in. The images offered are all user submitted. The way it works is that you add your images to their website. If another user comes along and sees your picture and decides that they want it for whatever reason, they can buy it from the website. The site will then give you a decent percentage of that price. This percentage can differ from website to website but you'll certainly get quite a lot of it. So, get snapping and make yourself some cash. Here's the websites we recommend:
123RF - Images can be bought from 123RF from as little as $1 (or you can even select from a daily list of free images so you don't pay a penny). As far as we can tell, these guys have the largest collection out of the best image downloading websites.
ShutterPoint - These are probably our favourite. They have some great images submitted and we even bought one from here for a size A0 canvas print that we wanted. It looks great! Their prices are around the same as 123RF also.
One thing to note is that images will usually be priced by size. By this, we mean that there may be 4-5 different prices for one images; the price rises as the resolution does. Also, to buy, you need to pay a minimum of $10 and then use these funds to pay for your images.
See you next time with a new great way of making money online!

Ipoints- Get Rewards Just For Shopping Online - UK Only (Sorry U.S.)
Ipoints is an online points reward system that, yes you guessed it, rewards you for shopping online. On the whole, we think ipoints is a good website. You can get various prizes for, essentially, free. "Hang on," I hear you say "but don't you have to buy stuff - as in SPEND money to get the rewards". Well, yes, in general you do but we would still say that you receive the rewards for free. Why? Because (and this is just us) we would never buy something online simply because we get ipoints for doing it. We shop around and buy at the cheapest price we can. The lucky thing for us is that we mostly buy DVD's and similar things online and the shop that most often tends to be the cheapest we find is Sendit.com. As luck would have it, they offer 10 ipoints for every pound spent. So, this means that we're buying exactly what we would normally buy but after a while (maybe 6 month!?) we earn enough ipoints from buying at Sendit.com to spend them on the reward we really want - a £50 voucher for sendit.com (about 12 free DVD's). Of course, sendit.com aren't the only merchant that we find we can earn points from; there are several. These, for us, mostly include Amazon, Play.com and Sendit.com but there are hundreds. You don't always have to spend money to earn ipoints. You can be awarded ipoints for a variety of actions. Some ways include:
Shopping Online
Completing surveys
Playing Online Casinos/Bingo/Gambling
Grocery Shopping
Clicking though to links in emails
Referring friends
Signing up for free things
...to name a handful.
We think ipoints is definitely worth signing up to as long as you keep your head on your shoulders and don't spend when you normally wouldn't have. Before long, you'll be earning enough ipoints for some quite good rewards (not always GREAT but still good). Ultimately it's up to you to keep an eye on what you do with your ipoints account. Beware of signing up to things that will end up spamming or sending junk mail to your home (just read the small print). Keep this in mind and you'll love ipoints. We do!

Website Update: New Buying System
Well, we're full of updates lately. As we said a few days ago, we're getting the website just the way we always wanted it and there's a lot of tweaking going on at the minute and one of the bigger changes is an update to the way you buy advertising space from us. Firstly, Paypal is GONE. And good riddance. We really never liked Paypal. It worked well enough for buyers like yourselves but it was a rip off when it came to the merchant (us). Anyway, we're not here to get in to a rant about Paypal. We now use Google Checkout. It's a much smoother transaction than Paypal was and is so easy to use that we're thinking of buying a monkey to test that theory.
The part of the buying process that is located on our 'Buy Space' page has been vastly improved too. It used to be all of the information smashed together no matter what you were buying and we hold our hands up and admit that it could be a bit confusing. Now it's done in a step-by-step process of 3 steps. 1) select whether you want to buy normal pixel space, a window pane space or a full window space. 2) pay for your selection 3) email us with the image and link you want placed on the website and where you want it. THAT'S IT! Couldn't be easier. It's just in time for our up-coming sale too (which starts at 12.01am 18 May). So, now that it's so easy you should go right on over there and buy some advertising space for yourself.
More updates and money-making tips coming soon.
3-DAY SALE AT PIXEL-BRICKS - STARTS 18 MAY
We've got some exciting news for you today. We at Pixel-Bricks.com are having our first ever sale! For three days, starting at 12.01 a.m. on 18 May GMT, the cost of pixel space will be reduced by 60%. A pixel will cost only 10p (UK) which works out as a little under 20c (US). Be sure to buy your pixel-bricks (our name for advertising space as you should well know by now) during the sale to make a massive saving.
Remember, you only pay once for your advertising space on the homepage. This means that for as little as 10p/20c a pixel, an advert to your own website will be online for as long as Pixel-Bricks.com exists (which will be years). Advertising doesn't get much cheaper than this! There's really no catch and you've nothing to lose so, from 18 May, get yourself to the 'Buy Space' page of pixel-bricks and grab yourself a bargain.

Get paid to put your videos online
Let's face it, if you haven't heard of Youtube then you're living in a cave.........without a solar powered laptop connected to a city-wide WiFi connection (wow, you can get the internet anywhere these days, even in that cave every recluse seems to live in). Well believe it or not there's actually some other websites out there that are practically identical to Youtube. The main difference is that the others often cater for a specific demographic. The one we're telling you about today is Metacafe. "Why?" we hear you ask, well, they pay you, we reply. The basic idea is that if you have a video which is 100% your own creation including what you see and what you can hear then you can submit it to their website and make it a "Producer Reward Candidate". To be clear, you can add most videos to it even if they aren't entirely your own creation, just like Youtube but you won't get paid for those ones.
So, how do you make money? Well, after you've uploaded your video, other members will come across it and when they watch it, they give it a rating. If it is giving a rating of over 3/5 then you can start getting paid for it. If it's VERY good, the admin of the website will put it as a featured video on their homepage and this is when you get paid the most. BREAK is another similar website. Both offer money for good original videos. So, get uploading people and you could make a mint. Here's some links.

Website Update: Contact Us Page
Hi everyone. We now have a new 'contact us' page. It's nothing fancy but at least it now exists. The old 'contact us' link just opened your email account and let you email from there and although that certainly gets the job done, it left us open to spammers by displaying the email address in the coding of the website. Now it's all much safer for us and a faster process for you. The way it currently looks isn't how it will be in its final form. There's currently no way of adding attachments by this method but we're working hard on this and this feature will hopefully have been added within 24 hours. Until then, we still have the email address displayed on the 'buy now' page so if you want to buy advertising space, you can still use this method and attach the image you want placed on the homepage to your email.
We also need to make a quick apology, yesterday on the post where we first mentioned about the 'contact us' page being faulty while we were implementing the new features, we said that "later today" (meaning yesterday) we'd have another way of making money online. Some of the more eagle-eyed of you will have noticed that we never made another post that day. Rest assured, we aren't getting lazy. The reason for it was that the new contact features were causing us some problems and we were working hard on this. As a result, all of our efforts were diverted to it making us miss a posting on the blog. So, check back later today when we REALLY WILL have a new way for you to make some extra cash online.........we promise.

"Contact Us" Page Problems
Just to let you know that we're having a little trouble with the "Contact Us" page of Pixel-Bricks. For now, we have a very basic, temporary page up which enables you to email us, however it will be fixed to its new appearance soon. Check back later today for a new tip on how you can make some money using the internet.

Get Paid To Look At Websites
Today we're telling you all about P2C or 'Paid to Click' websites. Essentially, you get paid to view specific websites. The pay is usually very low (usually around $0.01 per click) but if you use them every day, it won't be long before you start making a bit of cash. Beware when signing up, most sites like this work in US Dollars (see, we told you this website and blog caters for both sides of the Atlantic) and though most will let international members join, some don't. So, UK users, make sure when you sign up that the specific P2C website allows you to be paid after all that clicking. The best way to make money from these websites is by referring as many people as possible. Refer enough people and you might never need to go on to a P2C site again because you get paid every time one of your referrals do, at no cost to that member. We've got a list below of a few P2C websites that we've found to be quite good compared to others.
Pay2Surf - These offer a higher payout than normal which isn't fixed. This means that you could go on one minute and be paid $0.01 for clicking through to a website but go on the next minute and it'll be $0.70. It shows you to the left how much you'll be paid at that moment.
Click-2-Be-Paid - These use the same website layout as Pay2Surf but are in fact under completely separate ownership. The same 'floating pay rate' applies.
LinkGrand - These have a positive and a negative. They pay a lot less than the others for clicks, however they have A LOT more of them so it works out quite good in the end.
We've said it before about other things but, like most ways of earning extra cash online, this method won't make you millions, it really is something which will earn you an extra little bit of cash each month and even then, that's only a slightly significant amount if you have referred quite a few other member to each website but, if you think it's for you, fell free to give it a go.
Website Update: Improvements To The Payment Process
Morning all.
Just a quick update here letting you know of something new that's soon to be coming to Pixel-Bricks. Our current system for letting you purchase pixel space from us works well but it is a bit daunting and wordy for those buyers who are a little less used to buying online. We're working on a much better way so that you can buy your pixels in the easiest way possible. The new way will be done in a step-by-step way with you being guided on what to do from start to finish. It's going to be completely fool proof. Make sure to check back here or at Pixel-Bricks over the next week to see the new and improved payment system. If you haven't bought space for your ad yet, you can still do so now; we're just making the already easy even easier.

Did You Miss Us?
If any of you were trying to access the blog between 2.00p.m. and 5.20 p.m. GMT today you may have noticed that you were receiving an error message blocking you access to the blog. Not to worry, we've been busy working away at the problem like there was no tomorrow and we got it sorted. Everything should be back to normal now, enjoy!
Become Simon Cowel, Earn Some Money Rating Music
Hi all. Today we're going to tell you how you can make a little cash, you just have to do a bit of 'Simon Coweling'. That's right, you can get a piece of the action in the music industry. The concept is simple. You sign up to this website for free (www.slicethepie.com) and all you have to do to make some sweet, sweet cash is to listen to music. Yes, it really is all you have to do; listen to songs. Who wouldn't want to do that? OK, so there's a tiny bit more effort needed that that but not much. What you do is you listen to a song. You aren't told the name of the song or the artist. After at least 60 seconds have passed, you have to rate the song from 1-10. Then you need to write a review of the song. The review doesn't need to be anything too long or fancy, as long as you accurately describe your feelings on what you just heard and why you feel that way about it.
This isn't going to make you rich but it might be just the thing you need if you like making every penny you possibly can (who doesn't!?). You will only get paid a few pence for each song rating at first. The good news is that the more reviews you do and the better they are (so this is why you need to make them good reviews), the higher your star rating goes. You start with a rating of 1 star and can work up to a 5 star. Those who are 5 star members get paid 25p per song review. Lets say for example that it takes you 60 seconds of the compulsory listening and another 60 seconds to write an OK review, this means that you could make £7.50 an hour. You can join SliceThePie no matter which side of the Atlantic you're from.
This is definitely something we enjoy doing; getting paid for listening to music and saying what we think about it. If it's your thing too then you can sign up to it for yourself. Put the effort in and you'll eventually be making a nice wad of cash per week. To extend the example potential of this, lets say you were making £7.50 an hour doing this and you did it for 3 hours a day, 7 days a week. That's an extra £52.50 a week just for doing something that everyone loves to do.
So, anyone wanting a piece of the should make their way to www.slicethepie.com and sign themselves up. Anyone can join, wherever you're from and you get paid via Paypal.

Website Update: Header/Banner Link Colour Scheme Changes
Pixel-Bricks.com has been updated slightly. The colour scheme for the banner at the top of every page has been changed. The links, which were blue, are now green, as well as the title to all of the pages. The website is still very much in its infancy and that's why there's been quite a few tweaks of late. We initially made a website that we loved and that's what we put online. Now that we're settled and more established, we're ironing out all the creases and making changes on the little details that can make a big difference to make the website look and function as good as possible. The new colour scheme rounds off the website nicely. The green grass at the bottom of the homepage now matches with the green at the top giving the pages a sense of completeness. The website and this blog now match much more in terms of colour schemes.
There's still a few more things that we're working on to get the site just the way we envisioned it when it was still in the concept stages and these will be rolling out over the next few days. As far as appearance goes, we think we're exactly where we want to be to make it look great. If you have any comments or suggestions on the design or functions of the website or would like to suggest a new addition or change to something which already exists then feel free to contact us and let us know by emailing us using the 'Contact' button on Pixel-Bricks.
Earn Cashback And Reward Points On All Your Online Shopping
Everyone should feel comfortable buying things online these days. It's completely safe as long as you know it's an encrypted process when you do buy (as Pixel-Bricks is). What if you could earn a bit of cash back for everything you ever buy online? Of course you'd want to. Well, that's what these cashback websites are for. There are some really good rates to be found out there. Perhaps the biggest mistake you can make in this is to use one cashback website. It's best to use quite a few. That way, the shop you're buying from is more likely to be listed with at least one of them. Below is a list of some of the ones we like the best. Sadly, these are only for UK users and all are free to join. There don't seem to be many U.S. versions of cashback websites. If you know of any, lets us know and we'll post about it. If you are going to sign up to any of these then please kindly use the links we've supplied by clicking the name of the site. By doing this you'll be helping us out as we'll receive extra rewards for referring you and you get bonus rewards for signing up, whether it be in cash, points or whatever. Still, it's entirely your choice how you do it.
Rpoints - This site works on a points based system. The good thing is that you can convert your points to pounds. 1 point is equal to 1p. Just for signing up using this link, you will receive 500 bonus Rpoints (that's £5 for free).
Quidco - This is probably our favourite of all the cashback websites. This isn't because they're better (nor are they worse than others), we've just personally used them for longer than any of the others, before we realised it would be a good idea to sign up with the other ones also. Technically, Quidco is 'free'. There is a £5 annual fee for their service, however this is never taken from your bank account. As soon as you have made £5 on cashback (and if you shop online even just occasionally, you'll make this and more in no time at all), they take this and the rest of your earnings are yours, until the £5 fee of the following year. If you don't make £5 in the year, there is no fee so this is completely risk-free.
TopCashBack - A good cashback website which is free to join, no annual admin fee, 100% commission and with the option of giving some of your earnings to charity (I know this blog's all about making and saving money but I think it's justified for us to deviate on this in the name of charity).
GreasyPalm - £6,689,587.80. That's how much money has been earned in cashback in total to members of GreasyPalm to date (at the time of this posting). Want a piece of this action? Click the link.
MyShoppingRewards - Another excellent cashback website who practically throw money at you. You can earn £5 for each person that you refer. This site is very user-friendly and could earn you quite a bit of cash.
Free Fivers - The name surely says it all! You get £5 free just for joining up to this website. There's really no catch. The only condition is that you usually have to wait until you reach a certain amount (often between £25-£50) before they'll pay you. This is a great cashback website.
ipoints - This site is a little different from the rest. You can't earn cash from these, only points which you can spend on rewards.
So, these are the best you'll get. There is also another GREAT bonus to signing up to cashback websites. We've worked out that you can essentially make over £700 a year for FREE by using all these sites. All of them have websites such as price comparison sites that you can go on every day and earn a few pence from them. Over a year, with all the cashback websites, you can make hundreds. So, go forth, sign up to these cashback websites and make yourself some of the easiest money you ever made.
Website Update/Fix - 1680x1200 Resolution Bug
Just a quick note to inform you that we've updated the Pixel-Bricks website. There was an issue where users who had very high resolutions on widescreen monitors would see an error with the background image of the website. We've now fixed this and the website should display properly for all commonly used resolutions.
We aren't aware of any other problems with the website, however if you notice any feel free to send us an email (use the 'contact' link on Pixel-Bricks.com) or leave us a comment on this blog.
Check back later today when we'll have another great method of making some money online.

Website Update: New Addition To F.A.Q.
After doing some routing reviewing of the website, we realised that one thing that we had failed to put in the F.A.Q. was information about the concept of Pixel-Bricks and the general purpose of 'Pixel-Advertising' for anyone who hasn't really heard of it before (we know, rookie-like mistake, shame on us). Anyway, you can see the updated F.A.Q. page by clicking here. If you just want to see the new question and answer the here it is:
What Is Pixel-Bricks?
Pixel-Bricks is a 'Pixel Advertising' website. This means we offer a very unique kind of advertising. You can buy advertising space on this website for a low one-time payment. This purchase will allow you to send us an image to place on the homepage (or 'The Wall' as we like to call it). This image will link directly to your website. The best thing about it all is that your advert will be on our website forever (well, for as long as the website exists - don't worry, we're keeping this online for many years to come). No matter how many people click through to your own website, the only thing you ever pay is the initial fee. Most forms of online advertising require you to pay more money for every time your ad is clicked. With Pixel-Bricks, you only pay once to have your image put on the wall and the 'Links' page for the lifetime of Pixel-Bricks. The novelty of this website is what attracts visitors to us. As a result, more people actively peruse the website and click on the links on the homepage. So, why not add your own image to the wall today. Your ad is the 'pixel brick' that helps build our 'pixel house'.
We hope that's cleared things up a bit, though we're 99% certain you all 'get that' already.............98% certain.
Doing Online Surveys Can Be Quite The Money Earner
Doing surveys is a great way of making a little extra cash along your way to your internet made riches but this alone won't win you the world. There are many.....MANY companies out there that let you participate in surveys; there's a lot of people out there who want to know what YOU think. Luckily for you, you can use this to your advantage. You give them your opinions and they reward you for it.
Be wary of the term "reward" when it comes to doing online surveys, it doesn't ALWAYS mean cash! Saying that, maybe you're fine with earning rewards and not tied down to the idea of earning cash alone. The usual method of doing the surveys is: you sign up on their website, fill out a starter survey so they can see the kind of person you are (this lets them send you surveys which are relevant to you. Remember to be honest at this part and during all surveys. They want your honest answers and are good at spotting those who just fill out forms as quickly as possible for the reward). Then just wait for them to start sending you surveys by email. Surveys can take anywhere from 2-30 minutes on average. It is probably going to be around 10-20 minute surveys that you will mostly receive though. Depending on what the reward system is, you will usually have to wait until you've earned a certain amount before you can cash in on it. Most places do this and you'll probably feel more like you've earned something when you get a cheque for £50/$50 then you would have done if it all came to you bit by bit in pennies.
So, where are some good places to do these surveys? Here are a few:
Nielsen
Nielsen are a free paid survey website. They pay you to install their software and complete surveys from their website. You can also do their "Quick Surveys" and earn the chance to enter free prize draws or even win money.
Ciao!
Yeah, the same guys who pay you for your well written reviews of products. Not wanting to be beaten, they'll even pay you for doing their surveys as well. So remember, if you write product reviews and do their surveys also, Ciao! could really be worth your time and effort. It's certainly one worth looking in to.
YouGov
and
YouGov America (For U.S. Visitors)
You know when you read a newspaper and you come across a statistic such as '9 IN 10 WOMEN THINK TENNIS IS BETTER THAN FOOTBALL' (We've no idea if this is true, just off the top of our heads!) Well, there's a good chance this information came from YouGov. They are a very well known brand of UK based paid survey company and are often the route of claims such as the above that you may find in papers, magazines, on the news etc. Ultimately, if you want your views to count, YouGov is definitely something to sign up to (that and the fact you get paid for it). It is free to join and you get paid by cheque when you have earned £50 or more (though we can't confirm it at the moment, we assume this will be $50 for the US site - we'll verify this as soon as possible). Anyone from the UK wanting to sign up to YouGov please go to it through the link above or click here. Doing so will help us as we get rewarded for referring you, though it's entirely your choice. Think of it this way, we're helping you by letting you know all of this valuable information and this can be your way of paying us back. Don't worry, doing this won't effect your earnings. YouGov also has an American site so if you're from that side of the pond, THIS is where you click. As of yet, we don't get rewarded this way so feel free to get to the website any way you see fit.
Permission Research
This is a free to join paid survey website. If you want to have some fun while earning by giving your opinions, then this is the place for you. Here you can get rewarded to play free computer games in test, use free screen savers and get free software for your computer and of course, you can complete their surveys online. It's Win-Win really!
There are many surveys companies out there who want your opinions for cash or other rewards. These are just a few of them. Go hunting if you want to find more and have fun reaping your rewards!

We Have A New Logo!
We've updated the website with a new banner/logo for Pixel-Bricks. Our original logo was very blocky and that was the intention when it was designed; we thought a blocky logo fitted well with Pixel "BRICKS". In the end, we thought we needed something with a little more simplicity to it and so the new logo was born. You can see it on the website above the navigation bar on the top of every page. You can use the navigation to the right of this blog to click on to any page of Pixel-Bricks or you can click here to be taken directly to the website. You may have noticed that the font used on the links was changed the other day but this was the day before this blog was made so we couldn't have mentioned it. Feel free to email us to tell us what you think of the new design. You can use the contact button on the main website or you can just leave a comment on this blog posting.

Bring Out The Writer In You- Get Paid To Review Pretty Much Anything
As promised yesterday, today we're telling you about Dooyoo (and others). One of the easiest ways that we've found to earn money online is by doing paid reviews. If you enjoy writing or are an opinionated individual then you'll enjoy this one. You can earn money simply by telling others what you think of a product. What you should know about this one is that you won't make your millions doing this. It's a relatively small earner though i suppose you can make a decent amount with enough effort. The two best sites for doing this are:
Ciao!
and
Dooyoo
Both of these websites allow you to sign up (for FREE) and start writing reviews on thousands of different products. You get paid for every positive rating that you are given for the review by other members. So, before, when i said that it's not going to make you millions but it might be a good earner with enough effort? Well, this is why. You could write one review. Let's say it's stellar, amazing, a literary wonder to rival J.K. Rowling. You would certainly get lots of good ratings for this and the more you got, the more money you'd earn......but that's it. 1 review, a few pounds (or dollars etc) at most maybe for doing it. Then the money stops rolling in. Not worth your time and effort really. That's why, if you're going to take this route, you need to keep at it. Make it a regular thing; daily if you can. Regular reviews means regular ratings which means regular flow of cash. Remember to keep your reviews of a high quality. Doing this will get people to trust you and after this, it will be even more likely that you'll get more and more visitors who keep coming back to read your reviews. If you make short, boring reviews, no one will give it a good rating and you won't earn a reputation as a good reviewer.
If we had to pick a favourite, we'd pick Dooyoo. Ciao! earns you cash (pennies) for every good rating you receive. You can even do a video review. Dooyoo is the same (but without video reviews). The main difference which makes Dooyoo better than Ciao! in my opinion is that, with Dooyoo, if you want to review a product that isn't on their system then you can request it and it will almost certainly be put on within a couple of days and you can review it. Ciao! however, do not have this option. You can only review products already on their system.
All in all, if you like writing or have an opinion, sign up to BOTH of these websites and start reviewing today. Before long, you'll have made a good wedge of money. Good eh?

What's Pixel-Bricks All About?
If you don't know by now, you'll need to know what Pixel-Bricks is all about. We think the best way to do this is to show the thoughts and opinions of a user of the website and so, with permission from the writer, here is a review that was written about us on the review website "Dooyoo" (we'll be telling you how you can use Dooyoo to earn some money online writing your own reviews in a few days time so be sure to check back then).
Anyway, here's the review.
"
Advantages: Is cheaper than many other pixel selling websites and will generate lots of visitors to your website
Disadvantages: None that i can see.
Ok, so pixel advertising websites aren't new and so, at first glance you might not say that this website is exactly original.....or would you? maybe on first hearing about it you wouldn't but when you SEE the website, you see that it isn't just another run of the mill pixel selling website. Most of those kind of sites all look the same with a very rigid looking structure. Pixel-Bricks actually has a theme to their website. It's not quite what I'd call all bells and whistles but it certainly is very visually stimulating. I think it looks fantastic, almost like you've taken a kids view on what a fun site would look like but made in a very professional manner. That's not to say that this website is made for children (especially since its sole purpose is selling advertisement space to online websites). Basically, it looks great and it stands out from the hum-drum of the other pixel website structures.
So what is a pixel selling website for anyone out there that doesn't know? It's essentially what the name suggests; a website where you can buy pixel space (again, ignore this bit if you know it but for anyone else, a pixel is the name of the tiny dots of colour that TV screens and computer monitors display in). With the pixel space that is bought, you can then send Pixel-Bricks your image and website address and they'll put your image on their homepage and link it so that anyone who clicks on it will be taken to your website. It's a great effective method of advertising because the novelty of pixel websites (especially with the fun looking nature of Pixel-Bricks) keeps visitors coming to them and that means lots more people see YOUR website's link and in turn go to your website and generate you custom (if your website sells stuff that is). For an example of a completed (fully sold out) pixel selling website, check out www.milliondollarhomepage.com.
Perhaps the best advantage of this kind of advertising over other kinds is the pricing. If you advertise your website on other people's websites (lets say with a banner) then you need to pay that website for every time your banner is clicked. Alternatively, you may have to pay for it to be on that website for a set time - lets say a month. Both of these methods can be effective at generating custom but they can be very expensive.
The way pixel selling sites work is that they sell you the space to advertise your website in pixels for a one time fee. The price of pixel space is almost always cheaper than other forms of advertising and your advert is shown on the website for the rest of that site's existence, rather than going offline after a month or so. Another advantage of this is that when people are on most websites, they are there for the information on that site and nothing else, especially not the adverts, however with a pixel selling website, you know that the visitor is only their either to buy pixel space of their own or to look at all of the advertising images and so you have a very high chance of your website being clicked on.
As for Pixel-Bricks specifically, as i have said, i think it looks better from the other pixel websites. It offers a minimum space of 10x10 pixels for £25 (that's 25p per pixel. 99% of all pixel sites sell 10x10 squares as their minimum sale because, any smaller and visitors wouldn't be able to see much of your image. Pixel-Bricks also sells premium space. It costs a little more because it's in a more focal position and will generate more traffic because of it.
Unlike other pixel website, Pixel-Bricks has a theme to it. It has been designed like a house in the country-side with the windows being the 'premium space'. This is what makes it stand out the most. Looking through the 'About Us' page and the 'F.A.Q.' page you can see that the website has been designed by a young couple from the UK. The reason they designed the site like building a house (hence the name "Pixel Bricks") is because that's the reason they created the website in the first place; they want to make money to buy a house and their future together.
In my opinion, pixel advertising is definitely the most cost-effective method of online advertising and it has the potential to bring in much more visitors than through traditional online advertising. Pixel-Bricks simply looks better than the rest and it's also a new site which means there's most of the space still available to purchase. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to advertise their website for as cheap as possible.
Summary: A great website for anyone needing a cheap and highly effective method of online advertising."
